Instructors and coaches are crucial to the development of our sport.  They provide many first time experiences as well as support throughout the learning journey for participants.  

By providing safe and engaging sessions, instructors allow participants to learn new skills and develop existing knowledge, inspiring people to pursue boating activity for recreation, competition or as a career.    

RYA Scotland’s Coach Education Team support the development of Dinghy, Windsurf, Wing and Power Instructors and Race Coaches.  We also oversee the development of Race Officials.
